Vicky is a former co worker and friend of mine. She was able to translate her expereince in the catering field into design and setup for a wedding flawlessly. She was a pleasure to have around and I’m grateful for her being there! Vicky, you were an integral part in making Shannon and Jason’s wedding so special. Thank you! xo {nira}
Tell us about yourself and how it relates to the wedding industry.
I have a very creative imagination & love expressing it through my work. I’m very organized and when given a task I like to put my all into it. Event planning is something that has gotten my attention because it gives me that freedom in expressing my creativity for important milestones be it in my life or that of others.
What tasks did you complete for this wedding?
Organizing escort cards alphabetically and then setting them up with a wonderful display for guests to enjoy. Helped keep the wedding on schedule . I was involved with table set up and made sure place settings and chairs counts were accurate.
What surprised you?
I was very surprised of how smooth & organized it all came out to be at the end of the night.
What is your favorite part of this wedding?
The venue; eye catching architecture with a vintage feel, yet very urban.
What shoes did you wear?
Flats! Something comfy, yet dressy.
The uniform for the Amber Events staff is a black button down shirt and slacks. What did you do to Jazz up your look?
Nothing too fancy, just a good hair-do, make-up & a pea coat as it was a bit chilly.
What is your favorite wedding scene from a movie?
When the bride & groom have the glistening in their eyes as they say “I do”, so very fairytale! I guess that covers many films!
Do you have any words for anyone wanting to join the wedding industry?
Enjoy what you do! Take note of every detail no matter how small.
Final Comments:
