We’re back!
Welcome to the relaunch of our blog. We hope you’ve been enjoying our new website. If you’re joining us for the first time, we’ll be posting weekly, sharing real weddings, expert advice, behind-the-scenes, design inspiration, and more! As always, you can find the vendor credits at the bottom of each post. And, we love hearing from you, so drop us a line and let us know what you think.
We’re kicking 2019 off by sharing a styled shoot coordinated by our very own Debby Boh. The setting–Mission San Juan Capistrano. This place is rich in history; its Spanish architectural details have been preserved so beautifully. Its muted palette of brick and stone naturally lent to a muted palette of copper and beige… but certainly not blah. It’s inspiration for all seasons in California (we know–we’re lucky).
We love the juxtaposition of old and new. Notice the use of dried leaves and fresh flowers in the bouquets. And how it’s effortlessly composed. The gold silverware also adds such warmth to the tablescape. Have you ever seen creamsicle orange so tastefully used?
We’ve gotta say THANK YOU to all of our wonderful vendors involved. From the paper suite to the fashion, we’re thrilled at how things came together. How ’bout that film photography? Stunning! Learn more about the team below. See the features on Wedding Sparrow and Friar Tux, too. Thanks to you for tuning in, and see you next week!
