I don’t even remember how I came across this photograph. Probably Pinterest or more likely on one of the more popular wedding blogs. I don’t know the planner, location, or details of the rest of the wedding, but who cares at this point? This photo stands so strongly on its own. Beautifully captured by Kristina Hill Photography, it emotes the genuine spontaneity and fun everyone seeks in life. The strategically placed red umbrella for the bride amongst all the black umbrellas is killer, and darn rightfully so. I just feel for the one gal who’s faced is covered. Oh well, you can’t plan everything!
Seeing the different heights, weights, and ethnicities make this all the more alluring. It’s refreshing to see a mix of friends enjoy a moment together and to see them be able to come together and celebrate their friend’s big day.
This photo brings me to another point: Rain. Being in Southern California, we have the benefit of having an enchanting outdoor wedding almost anytime of the year. Well see, the thing about an outside wedding is every bride will have the relentless fear of bad weather. I say get a good planner who will be prepared to execute a plan b if need be, and whatever comes your way, just sing, dance, and be merry…rain or shine.
