…Amber Events was founded TEN years ago? That’s right! In 2007, Amber Events was founded by the one and only Amber Gustafson. For eight years, she worked hard to establish a trustworthy network, and set the standard for our unique designs and go-get-em attitude. She then moved her sweet little family home to Arkansas to build a wedding and events venue (The Ravington), for which she felt there was very much a need.
Last month, she graced us with her presence as she was visiting Los Angeles to attend a wedding as a guest. Our team met for dinner at Sawyer in Silverlake for a much needed reunion and girls’ night out. While we shared some delicious food, we shared some unbelievable wedding stories from the past few years–stuff that made us gasp and also laugh.
What can we say, except that we’re grateful for the lessons learned. Amber is a true testament to this lesson especially: if you want something, go get it! It sounds simple, but start with writing your goals down. “Put it out in the universe,” as some like to say. Believe that though struggles are inevitable, they are temporary, and greatness is on the other side. We left each other feeling re-freshed, re-inspired, and re-motivated.
