Greetings, readers! If you didn’t get to see our last post, we’re talkin’ holiday spirit here! The spirit of giving, that is. We were fortunate to collaborate with some amazing vendors and organizations recently—ones that give back to the community in a special, heartfelt way. That’s what the holidays are all about! We combined our ideas, and the results…? A holiday-styled photoshoot with an underlying theme of charity and sustainability. Read on to learn more about these incredible people.

By the Bloom is a unique floral shop utilizing both fresh and dried florals. Tara Grand is the brains and beauty behind it, and she’s bringing gorgeous creations to the greater Los Angeles area via her mobile truck, complete with flower cooler! She fashioned a stunning centerpiece for our tablescape using deep reds, purples, and greens, and struck the perfect balance between polished and overgrown. And that wreath! We think it’s quite suitable for the holidays without being anything typical.

Local + Lejos is a home décor company that creates modern pieces inspired by various cultures near and far. Their ceramic plates and patterned napkins are both such fun elements of our tablescape. What’s great about this company is that they actually work closely with artisans from all around the world to “grow a business, preserve cultural traditions, and create sustainable futures for their families.” Their inventory includes various other tableware and gifts at affordable prices without traditional retail markups. Shop here and become part of a bigger picture!

Bar One is a private bartending company and the suppliers of this fantastic barrel bar. It’s made of redwood and other recycled materials—a truly handcrafted gem. You can create your own holiday bar using seasonal fruits (pomegranates and apples), fragrant herbs (rosemary and sage), and warm spices (cinnamon and cloves). On our menu: gin mules and apple sangria. These’ll get you in a festive mood in no time. *wink*

As always, thank you for reading. Check out part one if you haven’t already, and come back again for PART THREE of The Spirit of Giving. Happy Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Holidays to you and yours, with love from the Amber Events team.
