Last month, we were pleased to attend the Allison Webb event at Carondelet House. Allison Webb is the designer of her namesake bridal collection, which can encapsulated by the term “modern romance.” In Debby’s words, she is “the cutest blonde!” Hehe. The gowns that were showcased were an homage to the 1920s and even the 1950s, yet any bride today would be a showstopper in those pieces.
California Wedding Day were wonderful hosts. Our tummies were filled by Très L.A., a phenomenal caterer–we’re still obsessed with the tub of champagne and roses they set up at the bar. We had such a great time making connections with those we had only known through Instagram. For a list of all vendors involved, scroll to the bottom of this post.
If there’s anything we learned,
- Brides can wear bold colors like RED.
- Micro-polka dots are in.
- Bridesmaid gowns can be just as fun as bridal gowns without stealing the show.
